Mosaic mode acquisition time in the Pro

Is anyone else using mosaic mode in the Pro much? If so, do you notice that even a 1.1 mosaic takes about 2x as long as the same mosaic/time/object in the SS30? There is probably a mathematical answer for this based on something(resolution, sensor, etc), but my brain doesn’t do math ~ any ideas?

Sidenote: I do 1.1 mosaic sometimes to avoid field rotation in alt/az. My normal drop rate is about 30-40%, but that’s with both the pro and the regular SS30.

I always do my mosaics by hand. Plan them with a 20% overlap. Your data will turn out better than using the built in mosaic mode. I always have bad gradient lines that pretty much any tool can’t remove. So I process them all to start separately and then put them together after like auto dbe in seti astro suite pro.
