Thanks. As I didn’t mention this, the mouse-hover wouldn’t change.

To be honest, I don’t like it because I find it looks messy and is distractive. The mouse-hover is nice and IMO enough.

I tend to agree that it is distracting although it would be OK if it was user selectable optional.

I like the look, maybe just because it is fresh. But I also agree that it is functionally not better. I like being able to skim through images and then, if I’m curious, just hover over to see the title. Because no matter what we do with the text, it overlaps the image, and sometimes it ends up blocking the most critical part of it. Having it optional as a hover-over is better in that manner.
