I’m looking to connect with fellow astrophotographers across the UK or elsewhere who might be interested in collaborating on imaging projects, sharing data, experimenting with different equipment and techniques, and generally creating some great astrophotography together.
Whether you’re shooting from a back garden, travelling to dark-sky locations, running a remote setup, or working with anything from a Seestar to a full astrophotography rig, I’d love to hear from you.
Some ideas I’d be particularly interested in exploring:
Collaborative deep-sky imaging — combining data from different locations, telescopes and filters
Joint imaging sessions at UK dark-sky locations (if you are in the UK)
Multi-telescope projects capturing the same target at different focal lengths
Processing collaborations — seeing how different people interpret the same dataset
Equipment and filter comparisons under real-world conditions
Mosaics and larger imaging projects that would be difficult for one person to capture alone
Potential collaboration with AstroBear, including educational content, imaging projects and community resources
You certainly don’t need to be an expert. I’ve only been doing astrophotography for around a year myself, and one of the things I enjoy most about the hobby is how much there is still to learn.
What matters more is enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to share knowledge and ideas.
