My simplest monitor is an RMS graph on a wall tablet. Night started off terrible with high clouds and wind. Then it got good. Roof closed for a bit (flat RMS), probably unnecessarily.. Then the remainder of the night was good. I’ll probably add live stacking, mostly to be sure I’m capturing what I intended. One disadvantage of shooting mono is that live stacking is less fun
I assume ASIair does live stacking to the phone.

My sequences are such that if it can’t plate solve of if I loose guiding it will just keep trying until time-out. That’s really for just the after bed part of the night. For the attended part, I’ll check it now and then just to see how the session is going but that’s about it. I won’t start a session if there’s any indication that clouds/high winds will be an issue and I absolutly won’t if there’s even a slight chance of rain. That’s served me well for the last few years.
