Finding compatible D-style plates for ADM dual saddle

Hi everyone,

I'm currently setting up a remote dual-telescope rig on a Sky-Watcher EQ8-R Pro. I've decided to go with an ADM Dual Saddle (Side-by-Side).

Here is my dilemma: Original ADM D-series (Losmandy-style) plates are completely out of stock in Europe right now, and importing them directly incurs absurd courier handling fees and customs charges.

If you are using an ADM Dual Saddle:

  1. Which European-available D-style plates (e.g., Baader, PrimaLuceLab, TS-Optics, Geoptik) have you successfully clamped into the ADM saddle without tolerance or slipping issues?

  2. Has anyone run into flexure or clamping jaw alignment problems when mixing ADM saddles with other brands' Losmandy profiles?

I want to make sure the clamping profile matches 100% before ordering so I don't risk any mechanical drift on a remote setup.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!

Clear skies,

I have used an ADM saddle with a number of Losmandy dovetails (can’t be sure which one were they, possibly one was Geoptik) and none ever had any slippage whatever and I find hard to believe this to be a problem.
