NGC 7822 est une Nébuleuse située à environ 3 000 Années-lumière dans la constellation de Céphée. Sa taille est d’environ 10 années-lumière La région comprend un objet du catalogue Sharpless Sh2-17 et le jeune amas d’étoiles Berkley59
La nébuleuse abrite également l'une des étoiles les plus chaudes situées à proximité du Soleil, BD+66 1673, un Sytème Binaire incluant une O5V d'une température de surface d'environ 45 000 kelvins et d'une luminosité d'environ 100 000 fois celles du Soleil

The nebula is also home to one of the hottest stars near the Sun, BD + 66 1673, a Binary System including an O5V with a surface temperature of around 45,000 Kelvin and a luminosity of around 100  000 times that of the Sun
