This close-up photo was taken from Mt. Hamilton, east of San Jose, and shows Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS). The comet’s bright head and long tail are clearly visible, with the tail made of dust and gas, extending across the night sky as the comet moves.
