Description
April’s Milky Way
This is the third project in my vacation nights out. I was outside at 5 AM to capture the Milky Way from my neighborhood. The light pollution you see is our little village just south of my location really blows the sky out.
I used the Canon T3i with the Rokinon 16 mm lens, f/2.8, ISO 1600, 15 seconds exposure. I shot 7 Lights on a fixed tripod, 8 Darks, and 5 Dark Flats, (I messed up the Flats).
I used Stellarium, Deep Sky Stacker, Star Tools 6, and Canon Digital Photo Professional for this image.
So here is my April’s Milky Way.
