Description
A little "side" project of the last collaboration image with Bruce. It seems that I try this area of the sky every year, and every year I think that I did not image this area often enough 😊, a bit strange to me. When I looked for comparison images I found out, oh my ... this is now the 6th try, more than any other target in the sky. Sooooo ... a knot in my handkerchief so that this won't happen in 2025. With this amount of collected data, this would be anyway not the right way to spend precious clear skies on this again. As fascinating as this area is, it is also trying to hide the beauty from us, I always found these 2 targets difficult to process. The 2 bright Gemini stars make life not easier either. I almost have to say that I like the 2023 image better than this one, I might actually try to combine those 2, just to see what the final result looks like.
