Description
Compared with past years, seeing has not gotten better this fall here in the desert. If I am lucky, I get at best average conditions during the nights.
I hope this is not a persistant trend related to our changing climate.
While waiting for the Seagull Nebula to rise above my roofline, I decided to take another shot at the Pleiades.

Title Pleiades - M45 (III) final
Description I had some additional 4 hours of data to be added to the final stack. I think it is true that once a certain threshold has been reached, the next level to improve data, is to double it. Adding 4 hours to this stack, did in my opinion, not make any difference I could see...
However, I decided for a slightly different processing approach and left the stars more punchy. It is at the end, a bright object and the star field around just looks better being a bit more sparkly.
