Sometimes surprises are around the corner, and I really did not think that this area was one of them. M49, well, another elliptical, those really "exciting" ones 😂. But then the first looks at the stacked images, and wohooo ... there is a LOT more to see here! So this Messier area is now on my list to target again with much much more integration time. In order to get this image together, I had to process again way more than I like, but I wanted to get at least a presentable image together. Sooooo ... next year in Spring I have at least one area to target, even if it is "just" galaxies 😂😂.
I post a bit quicker than usual, since I am running behind on my backlog, and I definitely will not be able to process all the data before my longer vacation. Well, at least I have something left when coming back I guess, but this should be also then the start of clear skies again (38 days cloudy skies now in a row, and forecast is easily showing that 50 days will be broken 😓😓😓), and then new data will hopefully stream in again.
