Moon 69% @ 9.2 days old
I finally got a clear sky night once Dorian moved off so I wanted to test the polar alignment with only the polar scope on the SkyGuider Pro. The humidity is so bad that within an hour everything is covered with dew; I am waiting for dryer fall nights. Once I was aligned with Polaris I wanted to track the Moon since it was blowing out most of the sky anyway; and as I have said, “When the Moon is out, shoot the Moon.” The SkyGuider Pro tracked the Moon really well, so for a test of this tracking I programmed the Intervalometer to shoot 50 images of the Moon over an hour and 40 minutes. I have never stacked more than 10 images of the Moon on a fixed tripod. This image is the result of stacking all 50 images. I still have lots to learn which is hard in the dark but I am getting there.
