Caught a break with the weather and conditions here in Maryalnd on Friday evening to finally allow me to open the observatory for a few hours and take a shot at imaging Mars close to opposition.

Seeing was average at best,  but was able to pull out a fairly decent shot out of the ripples as Mars was getting higher before the clouds rolled in from the South.  I also captured Venus, Saturn and Jupiter the same evening in this 3 hour window of clear skies,  will post them next.

This shot is 10000 frames captured, reduced down to the best 50.
