Description
Here are a pair of OSC images separated by about 2.75 hours. The early image clearly shows both the recent NTrZ outbreaks, the more recent one on the the bright dot on right. The first outbreak has developed a huge plume as it rapidly travelled around the NTrZ, with it's trail seen in both images, including above and past the GRS in the later image. To me it looks like it has travelled betweem 50%-75% of the entire circumfrance of Jupiter, darkening the zone as it has developed. I suspect that the 2nd more recent outbreak may result in the NTrZ zone becoming even darker over the coming weeks.
