NGC7331 with SN2025rbs (19 July 2025)

On July 14, 2025, supernova SN2025rbs was discovered in the central regions of NGC7331, the prominent galaxy of the well known Deer Lick group. The supernova is of Type Ia, ie does not show any hydrogen features. After the weather gods were not very merciful on July 18 (I just got one 3min frame - but enough to clearly identify the SN), I was more lucky last night. NGC7331 still transits only…
