This dusty region in Auriga happens to intersect with a supernova remnant. I didn’t expect to see much in the way of the remnant, but the hydrogen was visible even in the broadband subs so we threw some time and H and O and then even more time and then even more time on O. That O was faint. So faint that it was barely useable. Let’s just say that the O signal and noise floor were very well…
