The first data on this target were collected in 2023. Unfortunately there was not enough time then to complete it. So in February of 2025 the rest of the data was collected. Sh2-261 is a not too bright emission nebula in the constellation of Orion. It is presented here as a narrowband image in the Hubble palette.
