Description
This right here is M51, Widely known as the Whirlpool Galaxy!
Finally after a month of clouds I caught a break, with only one night to shoot something, and I went for the Whirlpool Galaxy, wich was my first time imaging it and I was pleasantly surprised what I produced, given the equipment I used. In my mind it was always one thought, if you want to shoot galaxies, get a high magnification. That's why i didn't really try to shoot galaxies, because I just have a wide field refractor, and I didn't think I could get such good results but after a month of clouds I was eager to just shoot something that I could leave my telescope pointed at the whole night. and the Whirlpool Galaxy was in a perfect spot for that!
