IC1318 – The Butterfly Nebula processed in a Faux SHO palette. The base image was created from narrowband HOO data. A portion of the SII signal was blended into the red channel to introduce subtle sulfur structure while maintaining the natural hydrogen dominance of the region. Stars were removed during nebula processing and replaced with RGB stars (from my RGB Version) to preserve natural stellar…
