My personal celebration of posted image # 100 on Astrobin
Looking back to my humble beginnings in Astrophotography, I realized that the Bubble Nebula was my first DSO I tried to image. At that time with an unmodified DSLR, my old Newtonian and my Atlas II I had bought few days prior. There was some struggle mixed with perseverance.
I can see here some improvements done since... LOL
Unfortunately, when I framed this target up with the intention to capture the Bubble plus the open cluster NGC 7654, I completely forgot about PN KjPn 8 off to the left of the Bubble.
I was surprised and saddened to find it hugging the left edge of my framing. Next time...!
