Venus' Crescent Phases

Equipment: Sky-Watcher Flextube 400P, ZWO ASI462MM

This false-colour composite shows the phases of Venus on approach to inferior conjunction during June-July of 2023. These are reprocesses of the best three images I acquired in the recent apparition. Sadly I had poor weather during the Autumn so only the eastern elongations were captured well. Maybe 2025 brings improved conditions to cover all phases Dates: 3rd June, 23rd June, 6th July. All…
