Description
IC 348 is a sparse star cluster formed about 2 million years ago, surrounded by the reflection nebula vdB 19, located in the constellation of Perseus, about 1000 light-years from Earth. The cluster contains about 400 stars, whose light is scattered by the dust clouds of the star-forming region, forming a reflection nebula.
